About Us
Troop 74 is a female Scouts BSA Troop founded in 2019. Our charter organization is Overbrook Presbyterian Church in Columbus, Ohio.
Our troop enjoys adventures and the outdoors. Some of our recent adventures include visiting Niagara Falls, sleeping on a battleship, skiing, camping and working on outdoor skills. Past adventures have included hiking, camping and biking on Kelleys Island, rappelling, canoeing & horseback riding.
We are a scout led troop. This means the scouts run the troop and plan the adventures. Scouts have the opportunity to progress through leadership positions and build their own journey of growth and advancement. Adult leaders are there to guide and support the scouts and to make sure things go according to BSA Policy.
Scouting provides opportunities for youth to learn and grow as leaders, to give back to the community through service projects and to learn skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. This comes hand in hand with a place that youth can just be themselves and form lifelong friendships all while having fun!
